A collaborative effort between Resorts Casino Hotel, Danielle Gomes-Chapman and Dave Pena, nightlife impresario and creator of Boogie Nights, Torch is a cocktail lounge, specializing in premium scotches and whiskeys, in a uniquely elegant yet hip space. Torch showcases some of the most unique talent to ever perform in Atlantic City, including torch singers, musicians, avant garde performers, and independent singer/songwriters, in a cabaret setting.Nestled into a cozy nook within the halls of Resorts Casino Hotel, Torch is one-of-a-kind in every way. Similar to cool lounges in Paris, London, and New York, Torch’s design was inspired by the luxurious dwellings of eccentric aristocrats and world travelers a la Ernest Hemingway. The design recreates the feel of a dimly lit library, with rich wood paneled walls, soft leather chairs, plush sofas and Persian rugs. Plus, chess and backgammon, shelves lined with leather bound books and a crystal chandelier overhead, reflecting the glow from the space’s most notable feature, its intricate fireplace, an original to the building, add to the ambiance. Torch is open every Friday and Saturday night, from 5:00 PM.
